- Number of positions for this job: up to
- Pay rate: from $26.69 to $35 per hour
- Days required: 56 days/week
- Hours per week: min 30, max 60 hours per week
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
l Assisting the Massage Therapist to massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions
l Discussing client concerns, medical histories and specific stresses or pains to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment, and report to the Massage Therapist
l Assisting the Massage Therapist to develop personalised treatment plans for individual clients that specify massage types, treatment areas and treatment frequency
l Assisting the Massage Therapist to prepare oil blends for clients' skin and assisting to perform other treatment techniques and therapies in addition to massage
l Advise customers on exercises and moves that may help with their physical fitness
l Adhere to a high standard of service and safeguard customer satisfaction
Job Requirement
l Prior work experience is not required but would be an advantage
l A "can-do" attitude
l Have an eye on details
l Self-motivated
l Clean non-criminal record
