We are looking for full-time leave cover, Support Workers to help the people we support in our residential services located in Te Awamutu.


What does a Support Worker do? |

In Residential disability, our support workers assist people who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community.

Support workers are part of a team who work shifts or specific rosters providing 24/7 cover with responsibilities including aiding with personal care, community outings and integration, and other aspects of daily living - enabling our people to be as independent as possible.

What are we looking for?| He aha ta tatou e rapu ana

  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts across a roster, including weekends.
  • Flexibility to work in different services within the New Plymouth region.
  • Prior experience supporting others with aspects of daily living, preferably those living with intellectual or physical disabilities.
  • Full driver's license and confidence to safely transport passengers in our disability vans (training provided)
