The Role
As Quality Engineer you will play a key role in championing compliance with project systems and procedures.

Key to your success in this role will be your ability to work with Site/Project Engineers as well as our Foreman and Supervisors to ensure the accurate QA close out and handover of completed works to the client.


  • Deliver innovative solutions for improvement across the project.
  • Review, analysis and reporting of incidents in the form of quality alerts, lessons learnt reports and training presentations
  • Perform regular quality audits and reviews of project construction activities ensuring findings are documented, reviewed and closed out.
  • Provide a high level of technical expertise and guidance in relation to quality issues, technical queries, and the management of inspection activities.
  • Interpret and review drawings, plans, specifications and compare completed works to specifications and compliance.
  • Carry out and monitor inspection activities.
  • Responsible for issuance and the closure of nonconformance and site instruction

About You
The successful applicant will have NZQA approved engineering qualification and onsite experience on civil infrastructure projects.

  • Solid understanding of quality principles around ISO 9001:200
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrate problem solving & decisionmaking ability.
  • Experience in auditing, inspection and review of civil construction works would be a distinct advantage.
  • 3+ years' experience in civil construction works, specifically, road pavements and surfacing, drainage and utilities.
