DKW Recruitment Group is urgently looking for 'Class 5 Drivers' to start immediately

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:00am to 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maneuver backing trucks, trailers, semis, and btrains
  • Transport materials to and from construction sites
  • Load and unload materials using tipping mechanisms
  • Follow all traffic laws and company safety regulations
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Previous experience operating backing trucks, trailers, semis, and Btrains
  • Familiarity with tipping work and knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures
  • Ability to follow directions and work well within a team
  • Strong communication and problemsolving skills
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy loads
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • DG license, F and OSH forklift endorsement would be an advantage but training towards gaining these would be available to the right person
In addition, your primary responsibility will be to transport materials to and from construction sites safely and efficiently.
