The Position:

The South Island Infrastructure Sector Lead will successfully manage the infrastructure service offering in the South Island, building and growing the brand whilst supporting the delivery of medium – large scale projects.

As an active member of the businesses' National Infrastructure Committee your contribution to the business's National Infrastructure strategy will be invaluable.

Currently working, or having recently worked in New Zealand's South Island marketplace, your key focuses will be on: leveraging your strong networks and developing business enhancing the local and regional resource base across the South Island growing and developing staff to achieve their full potential.

Like all senior leaders in this business, you will enjoy "rolling up your sleeves" with a significant portion of your work alongside the team in project delivery or advisory.

Your Background A relevant tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, quantity surveying or other construction related business discipline years' experience, including substantial experience in a client facing role, leading teams in construction project management within the South Island of New Zealand Broad experience across the infrastructure sector, you may have specialised in roading, 3 waters, energy and/or the advisory space.


Your Personal Attributes:
Highly networked throughout the South Island, particularly in the local authority and delivery agency space.

Commercially strategic, with the ability to develop and implement growth plans An innate ability to drive, motivate and mentor others Ability to build strong rapport and trust with clients and a wider community of contractors, consultants and stakeholders.

Excellent influencing skills.
