The Role
We are seeking an experienced store person to act as 2ic for a local food distribution company.

You will be the shift supervisor on some days so leadership qualities and prior experience in the warehousing environment are essential.


Duties will include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
  • Overseeing and assisting with the flow of product
  • Manifesting paperwork for trucks and drivers
  • Being a key point of contact for any issues
  • 90% of the work is in a cold store environment so must be comfortable with the environment

Benefits
- $27 p/h starting rate

Days and Hours
This is an ongoing full-time position.

Sunday night start and finishing Friday morning

11pm to 7.30am.

Skills and Attributes

  • A forklift license + experience in loading/unloading trucks is essential.
  • Experience in cold stores and transport
  • Leadership qualities and experience
  • Class 2,4, and/or 5 licenses are handy (this is for moving trucks around the yard)
