He Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic and suitably experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join Puna Taunaki and Puna Whiti
- our forensic rehabilitation wards. This OT role is varied and includes working individually with tangata whaiora, undertaking assessments, group work / activities, education and providing support to the wider team and care partners.

  • Puna Taunaki is currently situated within the Henry Rongomau Bennett Centre and has 10 beds, Puna Whiti consists of two standalone units with 5 beds between them. All three units are aligned, sharing the same resources and have a focus on developing skills to maximise independence and social inclusion
