Technician - Sample Reception - Fixed Term

The opportunity:


AsureQuality's Auckland Food Testing Laboratory is currently recruiting for a person to do a one year fixed term contract as a Technician in our Sample Reception department.

We're looking for a team player with food sample processing experience to join our team of 65 people.

Your goal will be to help with processing the arrival of thousands of food samples per week and preparing them for other departments to test.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team to unpack, check, register, store and deliver food testing samples to relevant testing departments in the lab.
  • Assist with customer and staff enquiries.
  • Data entry input information about samples into the computer system.
  • Actively participate in audits.
  • Help train your peers as you become more experienced and knowledgeable within the department.
