We are currently on the lookout for a
Risk Advisor for 12 months to work alongside a high performing and passionate team, supporting our stakeholders in delivering Suncorp New Zealand's enterprise risk management framework.


Key responsibilities:

  • Support the Risk Advisory Manager in developing and delivering the strategy for strong and effective first line of defence risk and compliance practices
  • Act as a trusted advisor in the business unit/s you support, providing ongoing expert advice and training to the business on Risk, Compliance, and remediation related matters as required.
  • Support the drafting and presenting of risk reports for the business unit/s and committees you support.
  • Support your business unit/s in completing their Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), ensuring plans are up to date, signed off and the BCP strategy is actionable.

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years' experience within a risk or advisory profession preferred, including experience in operational risk or compliance matters
  • Proven stakeholder management experience and ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of an organisation
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively within a team environment
  • Adaptable to change with good change management skills
  • Great analytical abilities with attention to detail
