As our new Structural Engineer - Transmission Lines, you'll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable

Your role will include:

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to understand scope, prepare deliverables, and provide project updates.
  • Perform costeffective designs based on industry, company, and/or client standards.
  • Generate design criteria, reports, design verifications, and clearance tables for PLS-CADD.
  • Build and modify pole and tower models for PLS-CADD design.
  • Develop construction assembly drawings, material selection, and structure loading packages for submittal to vendors.
  • Attend external and internal meetings to support processes.

We look for people who have had a broad range of experiences throughout their career and can demonstrate how they have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life.

As well as experience in a similar electrical engineering role

Specifically:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • At least 23 years' experience designing and engineering transmission lines
  • Proficient in PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower (preferred)
  • Able to perform transmission line engineering work independently
