The Opportunity

Reporting to the Pre-Contract Manager, the Bid Writer will be instrumental in gathering, organising and presenting information in order to win tenders.

You will be well-versed in technical writing as it relates to the Civil Construction industry. In this role, you will play a critical role across our greater Canterbury business.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Previous experience in business writing and/or bid writing preferably in the civil engineering sector
• Ability to write succinctly and persuasively for a business/engineering audience with creative flair, high standards of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to see the 'big picture' at the same time
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Inquisitive and the ability to work collaborative to obtain relevant information
• High attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines
• Relevant Engineering qualifications will be highly regarded
