We are looking for a Network Engineer to work in the Core Mobile/IMS & IP Team in our Hamilton based Network Operations Centre (NOC).

This team provides 24/7 support for Networks.

To be successful in this role you will need 2 years' experience in the industry, with the desire to further your ability in Networks.


As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver the best possible customer service experience across Networks.

You will work collaboratively with the other Network Engineers sharing responsibility for all aspects of First Response. You will also collaborate with Performance and Resolution Leaders in incident triage. There is a requirement for shift work outside of the hours of 8.00 a.m p.m.

Key Responsibilities

  • 24x7 network surveillance and incident detection.
  • Managing the incident lifecycle, including confirming that service is restored.
  • Managing planned changes to minimise network and service impact.
  • Coordinating secondline and thirdparty support providers.
  • Providing management information and recommendations for service improvement.
  • Highlighting staff training and education needs.
  • Contributing to problem identification by identifying recurring incidents.
