We currently have opportunities for committed and talented Accountants to join the team in our Auckland office. The role provides you with the opportunity to work within an experienced, collaborative team and you will be providing a range of services and liaising with managers, clients and our friendly and approachable staff.

You will be preparing tax returns, financial statements, GST returns and reconciliations for companies, partnerships and trusts. Depending on your experience, you may also be preparing budgets and cashflows

As a BAS Accountant within the team, you'll be working closely alongside the Director and Managers on a diverse range of clients, tapping into their years of knowledge & experience while making sure the work you do for your portfolio of clients is top-notch.

The role will involve completing a range of tax returns and producing the full set of annual accounts. In addition, There will be opportunities for you to really develop your Business advisory skills by providing value-adding services such as forecasting, cash flow statements & budgets.

About You:

  • experience as an Accountant in a New Zealand Accounting firm for a minimum of 3 years
  • Has the technical skills and experience to provide Business Advisory work
  • Is able to communicate in a professional and personable way (both written and verbally).
  • Is tech savvy – we use MYOB, Xero and its add-ons and look to keep up with the latest technology to aid our business and our clients.
  • Can hit the ground running and is not afraid to give things a go
  • Is not afraid to wear different hats if needed to support other team members
  • B.Com in Accounting and Finance
  • Has a strong commitment to meeting targets and deadlines
  • A positive and cheerful personality
  • Attention to detail and is numerically accurate
