We have an outstanding opportunity for an energetic person to join us as a Field Service Technician.

You will be trained to perform installations, service and calibrations on equipment used for quality control across a broad range of industries for our customer base throughout New Zealand.

Duties includes but not limited to: Carry out installation, maintenance, commissioning and service of weighing and inspection equipment Working flexible hours to meet immediate needs of our customer base Customer liaison to meet agreed service levels and response timeframes Ensure compliance to the METTLER TOLEDO EH&S standards Carry out service and repair to competitor brands should the need arise Participate in the call out roster system once at the required technical competence Work very closely with other departments to ensure a cooperative outcome Actively seek opportunities for cross divisional selling Produce accurate documentation and service records Ensure that all tools and test equipment are properly maintained and calibrated

Skills Requirements:
Trade or Tertiary qualifications in electronic/electrical, mechanical or mechatronics Previous experience in Mettler Toledo equipment servicing and repair is highly regarded A Ability to apply an engineering aptitude to identify and solve problems – electrical/electronic, mechanical, IT and software applications Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent verbal and written communication Flexibility and availability to travel interstate and regionally on a regular basis De monstrable experience of office and technical software (MS Word and Excel)

Valid Driver's Licence – essential Ability to travel regularly on a nationwide basis Our offering:
