The Role


As a Property Assessing Consultant, you'll be a vital link between internal and external customers, preferred suppliers, and Property Assessors.


Due to recent weather events, our team have high volumes of properties to assess out in the field, so these desk top roles will increase our capacity to assist helping our customers who have suffered damage.


You will actively assist with the productivity of the Property Assessing team by the provision of a workflow and support services while ensuring there is efficient and consistent referral allocation, and that the necessary administrative tasks associated are completed.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide the first point of assistance including issue identification and resolution for internal and external users of Property Assessing systems.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for Property Assessing process queries.
  • Log all queries and appropriately escalate calls where required.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of service levels.
  • Updating of management information systems used by the team.
  • Responsible for efficient and timely allocation of referrals, including checking data entry quality of referral, to internal and external adjusting providers.
  • Responsible for the administration of a Claim once the Property Assessor has allocated the Supplier and formally handed over the Claim.
  • Contribute to the customer satisfaction results of the team by liaising with policy holders regarding aspects of their claims or to plan to arise from salvage requirements.

Skills & Experience you will need to succeed:

  • Experience of conducting administrative tasks and functions within an office environment
  • Proven skill providing superior phonebased customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • The ability to process and prioritise high volumes of work accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to communicate with management, staff & customers at all levels (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to identify and offer solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Responsive in understanding and resolving customer issues across the phone, identifying areas of concern.
