Leadership and Management:

  • Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Technical Oversight:
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards regulations and best practices.
  • Review and approve engineering designs plans and specifications.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate new technologies into projects when applicable.
Budget and Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets.
  • Track expenditures and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Conduct costbenefit analyses to support decisionmaking processes.
Quality Assurance:
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Client and Stakeholder Relations:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients suppliers and partners.
  • Communicate project status challenges and achievements effectively.
Health and Safety:
  • Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Conduct safety audits and risk assessments regularly.


RequirementsEducation: Bachelor s degree in Engineering (Civil Mechanical Electrical or related field). A Master s degree or MBA can be advantageous.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 510 years of experience in engineering with at least 35 years in a management role.
  • Proven track record of managing largescale engineering projects.
Licenses/Certifications: Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is preferred.
Health and Safety: Commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Continuous Improvement: Willingness to engage in continuous learning and professional development.
Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills including planning resource allocation and risk management.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of engineering principles and practices.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Financial Acumen: Good understanding of financial principles related to project management.
