Sealed Air New Zealand is looking for a motivated and experienced Plant Manager to join our Supply Chain team.

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing NZ, you will lead the supply chain activities for the Porirua business encompassing SEE manufacturing products in our Porirua site.

You will bring to the role extensive leadership skills gained within a continuous, fast paced manufacturing environment.

Your drive for achieving workplace change and fostering employee engagement through consultation, communication and leadership will empower the operational teams to deliver improvements in safety performance, quality, cost and delivery.


You will work closely with business leadership to ensure Supply Chain operations are aligned to deliver the agreed business plans and budgets, together with NZ Supply Chain Leadership Team to develop the performance of the overall supply chain in line with business expectations and to maximize synergies across the supply chain.

Success will be measured through process improvements, high levels of employee engagement and a sustained positive impact on the performance of the business.

You will be one of the key leaders in New Zealand to drive operational excellence, targeting to the world class manufacturing.

What we are looking for in you?

Demonstrated senior leadership in a manufacturing environment. (minimum 5 years in previous plant/leadership role)
Be Tertiary qualified in either a manufacturing or supply chain field.
Delivered on key business improvement projects and initiatives
Facilitated groups/teams in meetings, demonstrating ability to problem solve and be decisive in decision making.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong business acumen
