We are looking to grow our gardening crew due to lots of available work throughout Auckland.

The role involves garden enhancement, ground preparation, laying out, planting, mulching and hedge trimming.

Requirements of the role

  • Excellent knowledge of plants and trees.
  • Excellent knowledge of gardening tools and operating a rideon mower is essential.
  • Able to work independently and always keen to grow.
  • Willingness to work during the rainy season as well as in hot weather.
  • Experience in turf is preferable but not essential.
  • Must not be afraid of heights, as some jobs require standing on high ladders for hedge trimming.
  • A passion for working outdoors and not afraid of getting dirty.
  • Able to cut trees, mow lawns and collect all the rubbish.

What we need from you:

  • Clean criminal record.
  • Good references
  • A drug test is required for this job as it involves handling heavy machines and visiting clients' properties.
  • Flexibility to work weekends is required as it is a rosterbased job.
  • You must not be allergic to plants.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects.
  • Must meet legal requirements to work in NZ.
