About the opportunity | Te whiwhinga mahi

Our Takanini Site is looking for a motivated individual to join our Quality, Risk & Compliance team as an Incident Controller. Engaging closely with key stakeholders and business leaders, this role is responsible for the effective running of the FBNZ Security Control Centre.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as incident controller in the event of a security breach and co-ordinating response teams and site management
  • Providing site managers with daily activation reports and corrective action reporting and escalations
  • Working with the Incident Manager to ensure escalations are followed up and any faults in the access control /CCTV systems are attended to expeditiously
  • Managing CCTV platforms to reduce risk across all FBNZ sites
  • Liaising with Site Managers to ensure all activations are investigated, escalated, and actioned expeditiously
  • Act as access controller in the event of a significant incident.
  • Operating the Gallagher access control platform to monitor access doors and react to any critical breaches across all Oceania NZ sites
This is a full-time 6 month fixed term position covering paternal leave, working on a dayshift roster 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with flexibility to cover other shifts when required. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high-performing and collaborative team.

  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic to intermediate level computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite
  • Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Critical thinking & attention to detail
  • Experience in this industry is beneficial, but not a requirement.
