What we're looking for
***We are searching for a Laboratory experienced and confident RF and EMC Technician, who can bring their mix of quality systems, technical skills and teamwork experience into the organisation.

You will have hands on experience working in a laboratory and in the ISO17025 space, you can speak Radio frequency testing languages as well as being an expert, if it comes to EMC testing methods and standards.

You have the ability to understand, of how to provide advice, test plan development as well as costing estimates for your clients.


What you will do

  • Evaluate, test, and troubleshoot Radio networks and network architecture requirements and provides input to the bid review process.
  • Communicate with external customers and other internal employees in a positive and professional manner, considering the company values of commitment.
  • Be hands on in the laboratory and conduct Traffic analysis and capacity design, and test the RF systems, including frequency planning, coverage, site RF engineering and assist with the wireless, fixed linking, and backhaul networks, including IP.
  • Step up as a technical lead for responses or parts of larger responses when required.

What you will bring to the role

  • Strong Radio Frequency and EMC skills and experience being customer facing within a Laboratory environment.
  • A deep understanding of an IS17025 certified test environment, Quality tools and methods
  • A generalised understanding of related areas including customer engagement, gathering compliance requirements and test plans.
  • You will have the ability to effectively maintain relationships, influence your immediate team, and key stakeholders from both business, and client areas.
  • You will be experienced as a similar role with at least 5 years as Radio frequency and Wireless/ electromagnetic Test expert.
  • You will have a tertiary qualification as well as relevant experience in testing.
