PACS administrator is responsible for maintaining picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) ensuring efficiency in all operations.The Te Manawa Taki District RIS/PACS solution is regional being shared across 5 Districts.**
Our team works closely with the RIS/PACS Admin teams across the region.

Join a small team working closely with our Regional RIS/PACS colleagues. Liaising and building positive relationships with Radiology and hospital personnel, vendors and project teams
- Key responsibilities of the role:
- PACS administrator is responsible for maintaining picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS), ensuring efficiency in all operations.-
- Troubleshooting errors and addressing issues and concerns-
- Gathering and analyzing data-
- Testing and training for upgrades or new installations-
- Liaising and building positive relationships with external parties

Mōu | About you
- Skills and experience you'll need to be considered for the role:
- PACS administrators need a deep understanding of medical terminology and standard procedures related to the field eg Dicom/Basic HL7 Messaging.-
- They must be skilled in technical, radiology, analytical, and organization skills. Medical Imaging degree or relevant Computer science/Information Technology Degree.
