Founded in 1982 by Sir Stephen Tindall, the first 'red shed' challenged established retailers and proved popular with customers as a result of its simple style, and wide range of products at bargain prices.

In this role you will be responsible for making sure our customers receive fast service at the checkout and that they feel valued.

You like working in a fast paced environment and get the job done without compromising service standards.


You have a lot of patience and like helping people; it takes a lot to get you flustered and finding a solution to a problem is part of the great service you offer, and you are really good at keeping things organised and tidy; you know having a well maintained work space is important.

This is a permanent part time position working 20 hours per week:

  • Thursdays 10am to 2pm
  • Fridays 12pm to 4pm
  • Saturdays 12pm to 4pm
  • Sundays 10am to 2pm
  • Mondays 10am to 2pm

Qualifications
Ideally you will have;

  • Some experience in retail, hospitality or a customerfacing role preferable but not essential
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • A positive, cando attitude
  • Great reliability
  • The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
