We have an exciting opportunity for an Adult Intern Nurse Practitioner (INP) to join our established Adult NP/CNS team at North Shore Hospital Emergency Department.

We are seeking an established expert Adult Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist ready for NP Internship with proven emergency department years of work experience in this role; encompassing Senior Nurse values and attitudes; and a high standard of practice and skill to join our team of health professionals to provide health care services for adults within the emergency department.

To be considered for this position, the following will be required:

  • Registered Nurse in New Zealand
  • Contemporary emergency department Adult Nurse Practitioner experience or a minimum of three years Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist experience
  • Nurse Practitioner as approved and endorsed by the Nursing Council of New Zealand
  • Masters in Nursing, prescribing practicum, or working towards finishing this.


The successful applicant will be practising at a senior level; be a calm and resilient individual with a 'can do' attitude and a passion for seeking improvement.

An excellent communicator and strong patient advocate.
