8 June 2023Our client is a leading international agri-business that produces edible oils for a wide range of quality food ingredients and animal feed products.

They are currently seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their team.

About the Role:

  • Responsible for designing, implementing, controlling and optimising industrial processes and machinery
  • Daytoday troubleshooting and correction of process issues
  • Liaise with operations staff to facilitate process changes; coaching and training; CI initiatives
  • Take the lead on management of key projects
  • Offer engineering and technical support to external stakeholders when required

About You:

  • Must have a relevant Engineering qualification with experience in an Industrial or Food Manufacturing environment, ideally in vegetable oil processing, dairy, or similar
  • Sound knowledge of statutory and legal requirements relative to workplace safety
  • Up to date on current and emerging industry related "best maintenance practices"
  • Experience with systems and standards, particularly SQF, RMP, AS/NZS 4801 and ISO 1400
  • Ability to maintain budgets, coordinate projects, and achieve planned timelines
  • Successful track record in managing contractors, especially within manufacturing industry
  • SAP experience beneficial
