The Role
We are seeking a Technologist to join a professional and engaged team in our Palmerston North based facility

Reporting to the New Product Development Manager your responsibilities will include

  • Process development and implementation of new and novel beverage products
  • Supporting the development of pilot plant and commercial processes across business needs
  • Development and design of new and novel processing techniques to support formulated beverages and Specialty ingredients
  • Understanding & ensuring continuous improvement of dairy knowledge and technical processing needs
  • Reporting to internal & external stakeholders to support ongoing development and a wider portfolio of products


This role will suit an innovative team player whose ideas will be listened to in this proactive research focussed environment.


Skills and Experience


This role may offer flexible work times and free car parking and be a part of a very innovative and collaborative team.

To be considered for this position will require

  • A tertiary qualification in Food/Dairy Science or Technology
  • Experience in Food/Dairy Technology in a commercial environment
  • Dairy process knowledge and operational experience
  • Customer focused attention to detail
  • The ability to work at pace with pride and quality
Food / Dairy chemistry experience is highly regarded in this role as is knowledge of HACCP and RMP process. Experience with UHT and/or Membrane Processing will also be highly valued.
