A relocation assistance payment is available for the right candidate (within NZ).

This position requires you to be able to install commercial flooring independently, from start to finish. You don't need to have a trade certificate/qualification to apply for this position, provided you can do the ordinary work expected of a tradesperson. We are also more than happy to help you get qualified

What can you expect from us?

  • $40/ph and yearly pay rise guaranteed.
  • Vehicle, phone, PPE and all tools provided.
  • Work hours are 7.30am – 4.00pm Mon-Fri, no weekend work unless you specifically want it. We are closed for 2 weeks over xmas break, and we do not work public holidays.
  • 40 hours guaranteed, wages topped up to 40hr if it's a short week.
  • Overtime is often available but is entirely voluntary and we pay overtime at 1.5x pay (yes, that's $60/ph on overtime).
  • A highly organised operation - specially trained office staff and site managers. You can expect very detailed job sheets and site information with all tools, equipment and products ready to go, every time.

  • Management have either been installers or have a deep knowledge and appreciation for the work you do.

What would we expect from you?

  • Be experienced in flooring installation and able to complete jobs independently, from prep all the way through to the finishing touches.
  • Be willing to work with, and share knowledge with apprentices (we have four apprentices).
  • A drivers license (even if not a full license yet).
  • A commitment to quality work.
  • A commitment to meeting high health and safety standards.

The carpet work is mainly carpet tiles. Vinyl work is mostly either tiles or standard coved commercial vinyl, all of our installers do their own prep work.

The job could be a variety of work including carpet tiles, sheet vinyl, timber, laminate, vinyl planks/tiles, ceramics, rubber, nosings, Autex & boards etc. You don't need to know how to install all of these, if you can work with at least some of these materials and are willing to learn then we'd love to hear from you.We are also expanding our specialist flooring (Degadur, resins, poured coatings) if you would like to learn these products, all the better
