To make sure our customers get the best experience, we know that every part of their NZ Post journey must be as easy and seamless as possible.

The Whangarei Operations Centre is looking for a new Team Leader to lead our dedicated Customer Services team, with x4 Customer Service Representatives.

We are located on 121 Port Road, Whangarei.

We are looking for someone who can think on their feet and support the team when the pressure is on.

This permanent role supports a fantastic close knit, high performing and experienced team A big part of this role is the responsibility for the Safety and Wellbeing Co-ordination for the Northland area.

A lot of time will be dedicated to ensure we are on top of our compliance requirements.
This role operates Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm, 40 hours per week.

About You

You're a supportive leader, with previous experience successfully managing teams You are the type of person leader who takes a hands-on approach and demonstrates a commitment to safety while fostering a high performing, positive team culture Some other must haves are:

  • A background in Health and Safety and / or the ability to pick up compliance quickly
  • IT savvy and competent using Microsoft Office
  • Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Proven success as a team leader
  • Has resilience and a strong customer services background
  • Someone who is adaptable & thrives in a dynamic working environment
