We are looking for two Thai Cooks to join our team.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of related work experience, OR
  • At least NZ Register Level 4 qualification may substitute for the experience (overseas qualifications must be comparable to the standard of the New Zealand qualification), OR
  • The National Skill Standard Testing Level 1 (Thai Cook) from Thailand
  • Knowledge of Thai food ingredients
  • Knowledge of Thai food cooking techniques

Job Descriptions

  • Check all Thai ingredients and food materials to ensure the quality
  • Check all cooking equipment to ensure that it works and safe
  • Prepare and cook Thai food according to the menu
  • Prepare and cook Thai food to meet special dietary when required
  • Portion food and place it on plates
  • Store food and ingredients properly

Other details

  • This is a fulltime and permanent position
  • Wage payment is $29.66 per hour, and you will be paid weekly
  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law
  • You will be working at 240 Stanmore Road, Richmond, Christchurch
  • We are open from Tuesday to Saturday, Lunch 11.30 am pm, Tuesday to Sunday, Dinner 4.00 pm pm
  • You will work according to a roaster 6 days each week with a guarantee of 30 hours (a maximum of 48 hours)
