We are looking for a talented Senior Analyst in the Economic Policy (International) team
We are looking for a Senior Analyst to work on International kaupapa in the Economic Policy team.

About our Policy Partnerships Puni
Te Puni Kōkiri is the Government's Principal Policy Advisor on Māori wellbeing and development. Our 'why' is _Thriving Whānau_. We seek to lead and influence the public sector to improve Māori wellbeing.

The Policy Partnerships Puni:
- leads the public sector to understand and prioritise Māori issues, needs and opportunities which impact on wellbeing and development;
- provides credible, evidence-based advice that is anchored in the cultural context of te ao Māori;
- designs, applies and advises on te ao Māori and Te Tiriti-based frameworks for policy, linking the voice of whānau Māori into policy proposals and solution design.

You will be either a policy analyst developing your skills in a relevant area, or a recent graduate with a strong background in economics or Māori economic development.

- want to leverage international instruments and fora to influence Māori wellbeing and prosperity;
- enjoy thinking critically, are agile, and are able to distil complex issues into clear advice and plans;
- are an excellent communicator and influencer and are energized from working with others to develop solutions;
- have an understanding of te ao Māori and the machinery of Government and Te Tiriti
- know how to engage authentically with Māori from the wider community;
- value working in an environment which supports tikanga and reo as part of your everyday.
