Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity


Our Nurses are a key part of our organisation, performing Well child Assessments to ensure pēpi are developing and growing and providing clinical advice which empowers our whānau to succeed and prosper in their journey raising tamariki.

The care we provide often requires working with multiple agencies and specialists.

While it will not be up to you alone to make the difference, you'll be able to leverage and work with other community supports and our Whānau Āwhina services to respond to the needs of our community.

The uniqueness of the whānau we connect with is what makes our role interesting. You will be flexible in your approach, but always with a listening ear, manaakitanga (support), ngākau (respect), and the ability to provide culturally safe care

You will also:

  • Be a registered nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
  • Hold a full clean NZ Drivers Licence
  • Be committed to completing a 1year Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki Ora (we'll pay for this)
