About you:

Do you have extensive insurance experience where you have successfully managed a portfolio of insurance claims or have you come from a motor/mechanical engineering background, ready to start a new career?

Your new role:

Our Motor team is looking to recruit a Motor Assessor based in either Christchurch or Wellington with the required knowledge, experience and attitude to effectively manage a range of motor and mechanical insurance claims

The role includes:

  • Delivering quality customer experiences
  • Undertaking assessments based on site visits and/or documentary (including photographic) evidence
  • Meeting with customers and suppliers; completing investigations
  • Effective and timely written and verbal communication and reporting
  • Management of the Insurance claim settlement process, including the control of repair/reinstatement costs.
You must have a trade/tertiary qualification and come from a mechanical engineering background. Experience with farming machinery and irrigators is also desired.
