  • The Product Owner is the owner/operator running a 'business' that is accountable for delivering a product/service on a daytoday and sprinttosprint basis, working with an agile development team.
  • As Product Owner, you will work closely with internal and external customers to understand their needs and pain points. You will use data driven decisioning to power the product/service forward. Your primary role will be to maximise the value of this product/service and to represent the customer in the team, thus bridging the gap between product strategy and development.
  • You will help lead an agile development team. You will be accountable for managing scope and generally arranging and leading agile ceremonies, helping to define and size stories and prioritising team backlog. You will help streamline execution, and promote continuous delivery, while maintaining the technical integrity of the product/service.
  • We value and prioritise curious Product people.
  • This is an autonomous role, that collaborates with Senior Leadership, SME's, their team, other POs, and Product Managers to ensure alignment and strategic direction.
Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?- Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices, from concept and planning through to delivery and ongoing support. Experience with leading development teams and delivering products within complex environments. Experience with managing scope and prioritisation, making data-based decisions and negotiating dependencies with other teams across the organisation. Experience with iterative and continuous delivery methods and proficiency with visualising and presenting things like roadmaps. The ability to collaborate and negotiate with a wide range of stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners. The ability to record, monitor and manage an Agile team's costs and budgets.
