Be part of a team who are introducing a future proof and operationally resilient agreements and payments system that will be a key enabler of health sector transformation. Through this work we're enabling a modern and flexible approach to how Health New Zealand procures services from healthcare providers to ensure all New Zealanders are getting the care and advice they need to keep well.

Our Sector Digital Channels team are working to expand and improve the digital health landscape in Aotearoa. We are the digital transformation partners enabling modern technology solutions that improve the people and whānau experience through equitable access to varying models of care.

We are the change agent for national programmes and work with our customers and partners to enable equitable access through both digital self-service and assisted channels and to reduce pressure on the workforce through automation and integration. We are product focused and leverage modern platforms, technologies and ways of working to deliver quality, sustainable and cost-effective products and services.

We take pride in leading change that will provide equitable digital solutions for the health of Aotearoa.

**Mōu | About you**

As a Product Manager, you are the driving force behind maintaining and enhancing technology services that are revolutionizing the health sector.

Your expertise will be pivotal in working between the business and technology teams to establish, evolve and drive value from the products created and supported by Sector Digital Channels. You will operate at a delivery and thought leadership level, leading a team of Product Owners and others to achieve key deliverables. What's more, you will be collaborating with the cross functional product delivery team, defining user stories and acceptance criteria and ensure that completed features are fit for purpose. You will be fundamental to our success in delivering future digital innovation through the Sector Digital Channels shift to a product-centric organization.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Seasoned experience in a similar role in a large complex organisation working with both internal and external stakeholders and leading team.
- Experience working in an Agile product delivery framework.
- Significant experience developing product roadmaps.
- An appreciation of the technical landscape, ability to support the shaping of solutions with the ability to articulate this in a language that is reflective of the audience.
- Experience in the product management of both legacy and new products, supporting businesses in their transition to new services
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage teams in an environment of change, financial prudence and an increasing level of digital maturity across the organisation.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to lead others effectively to achieve successful organisational outcomes.
- Proven relationship building skills and well-developed communication skills.
- Proven ability in managing suppliers and vendors.
- Demonstrated intuition and the ability to balance good process with the need to make clear decisions in demanding situations such as priority service outages.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight timeframes and manage competing priorities while remaining resilient under pressure.
- Experience working in the health sector or other Government body preferred.
