About the opportunity


Fonterra IT has embarked on a multi-year journey that will transform technology in order to support the Co-op purpose and desired business outcomes.

This is a new role in the business where you will report to the Manager
  • IT
PMO (Project Management Office) and act as a trusted partner to the PM/Scrum Chapter on the FIT (Fonterra IT) Way of Project Delivery.


Developing strong relationships with the Delivery Chapters, you will lead the FIT Way (Fonterra IT Standard Ways of Delivery) including development, implementation, quality assessment and continuous improvement.


This is a key role to establish the IT PMO as the trusted partner in all things project delivery excellence.


Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading Quality Assurance analysis and reporting
  • Developing templates and tools on the FIT Way and provide coaching, training and guidance on using these
  • Performing Project Health Checks and providing improvement recommendations
  • Identifying potential project quality risks and developing mitigation plans
  • Leading Benefits Realisation Monitoring and Control

About You

You will possess excellent communication and relationship management skills and be able to build rapport and trust with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.


Other key skills and experience:

  • Prince2 and/or PMBoK project Management Certification would be preferred
  • A deep understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices
  • Proven ability to develop and implement project management processes and procedures
  • An understanding of benefits realization monitoring and control
  • Passion and energy to help drive project delivery maturity in a fastpaced environment
