We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Casual Front House Receptionists for our client's motel.

As a front house receptionist, you will represent our client's establishment, providing excellent customer service to their guests and ensuring their stay is pleasant and comfortable.

This is a casual position, offering flexible hours to accommodate varying schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing a warm welcome upon arrival
  • Efficiently checkin and checkout guests, ensuring accurate information and timely completion of paperwork
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about our client's motel's services, facilities, and local attractions
  • Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations
  • Process payments, including cash, credit cards, and other payment methods, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
  • Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring a positive first impression for guests
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and reservations management

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hospitality or similar industry, is ideal but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests and team members effectively
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation and payment software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile for guests
  • Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions


Please note it would be ideal if you could also be available for short notice if someone calls in sick or if they are going on annual leave.
