Beca's Central Infrastructure team is part of the energy decarbonisation and delivering renewable generation projects across Aotearoa and Australia in geothermal, wind and solar of varying sizes.


Our team is spread across the Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North, Wellington and Nelson, and we are open to finding where you belong and providing flexibility in where you want to be based.

The Opportunity
You will join a team with a track record of delivering renewable energy projects.

With the continued growth in the generation and transmission market, there are opportunities to carve out your area of expertise.


We are looking for a civil engineer to join our team to assist our key clients in delivering wind farm projects and solar projects.

Project work will encompass the entire life cycle, from feasibility and concept design for consenting to detailed design and construction.

Every day will provide you with new challenges and look a bit different; overall, this role will see you:

  • Delivering projects to clients within agreed scope and budgets.
  • Continually working with our team to improve our design process and provide innovation.
  • Collaborate and undertake conceptual designs through to developed design; and for construction, produce construction documentation as part of a team.
  • Consolidate and extend technical skills and show initiative in seeking learning opportunities.
  • Develop through being mentored and mentoring others to grow successful careers.
  • Foster client relationships that contribute to repeat business.

About You


You have a passion for power infrastructure projects and bring a problem solving mindset, with a desire to work on meaningful projects across Aotearoa and further afield.

You are a Civil Engineer who has grown their career in wind farm, solar or land development projects. Or you may have some experience in general civil design, construction including stormwater management, roads, earthworks and earthworks management.
