Due to recent business growth, we are looking to expand our Specialised Solutions team, with an exciting, newly created opportunity for an experienced banking professional to join us as a Corporate Transactional Relationship Manager.

We spoke with our Head of Transactional Banking, who let us know the following about this opportunity:

What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Providing expertise, guidance and recommendations on our specialised products used for managing Payables, Receivables and Cash Management.
  • Championing product and service developments that meet the bespoke nature of our customers.
  • Developing relationship with clients at multiple levels with the objective of being 'banker' of choice and 'sounding board' for financing ideas/queries/strategies.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal partners and collaborating with the wider Institutional banking team and key BNZ stakeholders.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

The customers you get to work with and exposure across BNZ you will gain You will be managing, developing and growing Transactional Banking relationships across a portfolio of some of New Zealand's largest customers, with a focus on whole bank engagement to our customers.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, able to effectively build relationships, and influence across the organisation, as well as effectively manage competing stakeholder interests to ensure the best outcome for all.

To be successful in this role you will also have in-depth knowledge of transactional banking products and services, along with a good understanding of current NZ and global trends within transactional banking.
