Clinical Consultant - Waikato/Bay of Plenty Apply locations Auckland, New Zealand time type Full time posted on Posted 6 Days Ago job requisition id R511119 Work Flexibility: Field-based We are now seeking a passionate, driven and energetic clinical professional to join our Trauma team in Hamilton, Waikato, New Zealand.Our talented Clinical Consultants play a vital role in the moments that matter most – the seconds, minutes and hours in which patients lives are changed forever by the skills and knowledge of care givers. This is a fast-paced role working in a theatre environment.
Our Clinical Consultants:
- Provide technical and clinical specialist expertise to internal and external customers
- Attend surgical procedures and assist surgeons and hospital staff in the effective use of Stryker products
- Conduct in-service training and support our Territory Managers
- Confidently identify and troubleshoot product-related problems and/or issues related to a customer's application of a product.
- Interact with various internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, product development) concerning products and product application.
- Maintain product/instrumentation knowledge and professional skills through internal training, external seminars and other available means.
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Science or Engineering, as well as an understanding of the operating theatre environment.
- Previous orthopaedic exposure or knowledge would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for a successful patient out come every time will ensure your success in this role.
