Our Northern Region covers our Hydro stations in Maraetai, Waipapa, Arapuni and Karapiro.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide effective and timely response to breakin works including planning and execution with a key focus on safe and longterm solutions
  • Manage and maintain hydro generation assets
  • Implement asset management strategies
  • Manage contractors including scoping, evaluation, monitoring and reporting to ensure successful completion of project requirements
  • Responsible for the quality assurance and schedule attainment of planned maintenance activities
  • Provide supervision of maintenance activities to ensure quality standards are met, along with health & safety and compliance all maintained

We are looking for:

  • Qualified, experienced and motivated Electrical tradespeople
  • Relevant experience within plant operations / process control or maintenance experience in a manufacturing or heavy process industry
  • Problem solving ability and longterm thinking
  • People who can adapt to and embrace changeable environments
