An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and committed Registered Nurse with broad medical knowledge to join the Outpatient team at North Shore Hospital as the Associate Clinical Charge Nurse.
As an experienced Registered Nurse, your sound clinical background and leadership skills will assist you in the day-to-day co-ordination of clinical care and line management responsibilities of the staff and predominant medical specialties accessing the Outpatient environment on the North Shore campus.
You will require a high level of clinical skill, demonstrate a proactive approach toward problem solving and enjoy being actively involved in service improvement ensuring we meet the needs of the population accessing care within the environment.
Your dynamic and innovative approach will assist you to develop a rapport with all staff from across the multidisciplinary spectrum, service users, families/Whanau and other community agencies.
Effective communication skills are essential, with a commitment to quality service improvement with a focus on evidence based best practice.
We'd expect you to have a Post Graduate certificate/diploma including papers in Leadership, a minimum of 5 years post registration nursing practice in Medical / Surgical nursing and a current, proficient/expert level portfolio.
