Role Overview:

As our Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will spearhead the creation and implementation of a strategic Horticulture People & Capability Plan, pivotal to the growth of our business. This role encompasses multiple locations across the North Island, including Hawkes Bay, Gisborne, Bay of Plenty, and Northland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive labour sourcing strategy, both domestically and internationally.
  • Focus on staff retention, development, and fostering a culture that embodies Craigmore's core values.
  • Collaborate with Business and Orchard Managers to align your strategic plan with business objectives and priorities.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring the selection of top talent through best practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5 years' experience in a fast-moving recruitment / human resources environment
  • Experience establishing management and labour capability in geographically spread sites, sourcing labour locally and internationally
  • Experience working within the Recognised Seasonal Employer Scheme (RSE) would be an advantage
  • Exposure to immigration law (e.g., knowledge of visa types and associated processes)
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong capabilities to address challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of advertising mediums, running recruitment campaigns, and utilizing various recruitment channels including social media.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
