Shop Manager - Woolston

Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga


This position is responsible for maximising sales and profitability of the shop through effective processing of donations, team leadership and shop merchandising.

This includes the provision of a learning environment for employees and volunteers.

In this role you will:

  • Demonstrate Team Leadership, including leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing in the workplace.
  • Coordinate and Training Volunteer Staff.
  • Shop Sales meeting agreed targets.
  • Merchandising/promotion/social media.
  • Cash/finance management.

Who are we looking for? - Mā‎ wai te mahi nei?

To be successful you will have:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in either a management or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of systems involved with retail stock management, including stock rotation and displays.
  • Experience in cash handling, cash management, and retail shop operations.
  • Experience working in a retail situation.
  • Experience/interest in working with volunteers.
