The purpose of the Charge Hand is to assist the operations team in managing the daily performance of processing staff within the depot.

The Charge Hand will assist the operations team by ensuring the processes used by their team are efficient so that parcels and letters are processed in a timely and accurate manner whilst meeting the daily health and safety measures and service performance targets.

The Charge Hand will be responsible for the daily allocation of tasks making sure that service level agreements are met.

We are all about creating and managing efficiencies so that parcels and letters are processed in a timely and accurate manner, while ensuring our health and safety measures and service performance targets are met.

The Charge Hand will be responsible for the daily allocation of tasks making sure that service level agreements are met.

What we need from you:

  • Be able to work Tuesday to Saturday, 1AM 6AM
  • Manage the daily performance of your team
  • Ensure that courier products, parcels and mail are sorted according to set KPI's and criteria.
  • Work closely with the processing Team Leader to ensure that our operations are consistently smooth, efficient and safe during the shift.
  • Support the staff and give clear directions to the team.
  • Perform daily warehouse tasks as required
