Te Toka Tumai is for looking for casual Administrators to join the rest of our team at Temporary Staffing Bureau to provide unforeseen cover for day-to-day operation of all clerical and administrative support services across our hospitals.

Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

This is a casual position (on and as when required basis with no guaranteed hours of work) based at the Auckland City Hospital (Grafton Location) reporting to the Temporary Staffing Bureau Manager.

As a casual administrator, you may be in the position as a Ward Clerk, Receptionist, Scheduler or a Coordinator working in collaboration with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure patients' journeys through the hospital are as smooth as possible.


Your key responsibilities:

  • Provide administration and clerical support to services such as Patient Administration Services, Reception, Temporary Staffing Bureau and other wards within the hospital
  • Display a high degree of professionalism resulting in excellent customer service at all times
  • Provide correct information and direction to all customers as required

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Strong background in customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office
