Geneva Healthcare is New Zealand's trusted experts in aged care, illness, injury & disability support. Through our Homecare department our Support Workers can support our client's recovery in the comfort of their own home.


We are currently searching for a team of Support Workers to help care for our client located at
Havelock North, Hawkes Bay. This is an exciting opportunity for an
experienced support worker to progress their career further, as well as a rewarding role where you will not only make a difference in our client's life but also their families.

You will receive extensive theoretical and practical training for the competencies needed for this role.

If you are willing to travel and have previous experience with home help, personal cares and complex clients then this is the job for you

Typical duties:

  • Personal care (Dressing, showering etc)
  • Medication administration
  • Home help (Cleaning and meal preparation)

We are looking to fill the following shifts:

  • Wednesday 8.30am to Personal care
  • Wednesday 11.30 to 12pm
  • Home help
  • Thursday 8.30am to 11am
  • Personal care
  • Thursday 11am to Home help
  • Friday 8.30am to 10.30am
  • Personal care
  • Friday 10.30am to 12.30am
  • Home help

Requirements:

  • Healthcare experience is essential
  • Level 2 Support Worker
  • Must have a clean and valid driver's license & own transport
  • Must be eligible to work in NZ
  • Subject to clean police clearance check
