About the role
Our Security Officers are a vital part of our team providing front-line Security services to protect the safety and security of our customers, staff and property.
As well as ad-hoc requests, they'll have a rotation of daily tasks to get involved in providing heaps of variety on the job.
You will also;- Be a welcoming, friendly face at Casino Entry greeting customers and checking IDs
- Become one of our valued "First Aiders"
- Monitor and report on customer conduct throughout the casino complex
This is a Part Time opportunity, working 20-30 hours per week on a rotating roster that includes day and night shifts including weekends - preference will be given to applicants who are flexible in their availability.

It'll be your winning attitude, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work under pressure which will make you a great fit for SkyCity.
- Have fantastic interpersonal skills and be a confident and clear communicator
- Be well presented with a high level of professionalism
- Able to think on your feet
- Be a team player
- Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts
- Have a good credit and criminal history the role will require a gaming licence so these checks will be done
- Be 20 years old or over due to licensing requirements
- Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
