Overall Responsibilities:

  • You are fully responsible for managing the daily operations and all other activities of the Motels.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directing and overseeing the daily operations of the motel, including reservations, housekeeping, grounds/maintenance and management.
  • Ensure motels are running effectively and efficiently.
  • Proving the highest level of guest satisfaction and service ensuring organizational efficiency.
  • Managing, monitoring and coordination reservations from all avenues, including online, by phone or facetoface bookings.
  • Planning, organizing and overseeing daytoday reception activities.
  • Hiring and training new staff members
  • Ensuring properties and grounds are well maintained and contacting & engaging with third party tradesmen if any repairs to the property are necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and employee's laws and regulations with reference accommodation Nease Zealand information.
  • Managing compliant registers and conducting face to face discussions to measure, improve and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Organizing, planning special promotions and remaining completive room pricing.
  • Oversee motel accounts including occupancy rates and revenues.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and ordering supplies to ensure smooth running of the motel
  • Establishing budget and organizing and monitoring the expenditures accordingly.
  • Organizing the stocktaking and planning the purchase activities
Reviewing, implementing and improving health and safety policies and procedures through regular meetings

  • Organizing and monitoring the work related to premises hygiene to ensure compliance with hygiene requirement
  • Ensuring the entire facility meets health and safety regulation all the time
  • May provide local information on local tourist attractions and places of interest
