**Overall Responsibilities**:

- You are fully responsible for managing the daily operations and all other activities of the Motels.
- **Key duties and Responsibilities**:

- Directing and overseeing the daily operations of the motel, including reservations, housekeeping, grounds/maintenance and management.
- Ensure motels are running effectively and efficiently.
- Proving the highest level of guest satisfaction and service ensuring organizational efficiency.
- Managing, monitoring and coordination reservations from all avenues, including online, by phone or face-to-face bookings.
- Planning, organizing and overseeing day-to-day reception activities.
- Hiring and training new staff members
- Ensuring properties and grounds are well maintained and contacting & engaging with third party tradesmen if any repairs to the property are necessary.
- Ensure compliance with customer and employee’s laws and regulations with reference accommodation Nease Zealand information.
- Managing compliant registers and conducting face to face discussions to measure, improve and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Organizing, planning special promotions and remaining completive room pricing.
- Oversee motel accounts including occupancy rates and revenues.
- Negotiate with suppliers and ordering supplies to ensure smooth running of the motel
- Establishing budget and organizing and monitoring the expenditures accordingly.
- Organizing the stocktaking and planning the purchase activities
Reviewing, implementing and improving health and safety policies and procedures through regular meetings
- Organizing and monitoring the work related to premises hygiene to ensure compliance with hygiene requirement
- Ensuring the entire facility meets health and safety regulation all the time
- May provide local information on local tourist attractions and places of interest
