As a result, LEAP helps law firms help people and make a real difference.

Our Content team creates and maintains the comprehensive library of content, including an extensive range of up-to-date, automated forms and precedents, enabling law firms to produce legal documentation quickly and consistently.

Our Content team also work closely with clients to ensure they're maximising the use of their content.

Reporting to the Content Development Manager NZ, this role will be responsible for managing LEAP's database of fields, calculations and layouts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO· Manage a portfolio of calculations, written in Java Script, for use by LEAP clients· Continually improve Matter Types and tables that capture our client's data· Maintain and update various legal rates & charges across New Zealand using Java Script· Work closely with Form Designers to continually improve the automation and functionality of legal forms· Review and prioritise feedback from clients and staff on improving the matter types, tables and calculations in your portfolio· Work with the latest document automation technology for the legal industry to deliver new methods of automation to our clients· Provide assistance and support to the Content team WHAT YOU NEED TO BE REALLY GOOD AT· Technical / professional knowledge and skills – having achieved a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise· Innovation – generating innovative solutions in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities· Applied learning – assimilating and applying new job-related information in a timely manner· Communication – clearly conveying information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message· Work standards – setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed WHAT YOU'LL BRING· Proven experience as a Database Designer or similar role, preferably in a technology-driven environment· An understanding of UX / UI will be beneficial but not essential· 5 years+ experience working with legal matters (conveyancing would be beneficial, but not essential)· Experience using Word document automation software· Good Java Script knowledge and experience· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.· Friendly, supportive, and driven culture· Complimentary gym membership· Flexible Work Environment· Fully stocked pantry· Monthly massages· Celebrations for birthdays, work anniversaries, new joiners · Generous Parental Leave benefits· One additional paid "Be Me" leave day per year to celebrate being youAt LEAP, we promote equal opportunity.
