As a
Quality Control Technician, you will report to Quality Manager based in
Auckland, NZ. You will conduct routine analyses and tests of several components of a quality control program.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis and tests of samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications.
  • Records test results on batch tickets and in our computer operating system.
  • Manages quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests.
  • Operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain housekeeping of the working place
  • Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy
  • Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints.
  • Performs 5S audits and other audits.
  • Support all Quality Control related One PPG initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related working experience in Manufacturing QC environment.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English language.
  • Chemical knowledge diploma or degree
  • Knowledge of laboratory test equipment
  • Office tools knowledge
  • ERP knowledge
  • Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy knowledge
